BCBS of Kansas Quality Reporting Incentive

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas offers a Quality-Based Reimbursement Program where provider can earn additional revenue for meeting various defined quality metrics.  New this year is the Anesthesia Registry Data incentive.  Anesthesia providers who meet the CMS quality measures and are reporting to a CMS-approved registry can earn an additional 1.5% in reimbursement.

Those of you who are reporting your MIPS (formerly known as PQRS) for 2017 through a qualified register can submit proof of that to your BCBS provider rep in order to qualify for the additional 1.5% in payments.  If you are using ePreop, BCBS has approved the QCDR Leaderboard which can be generated by the administrator of your group from the analytics section/page.  Simply select the date range for this year and generate that report.  The report can be emailed to your provider rep.
